Phyllis’s knowledge, experience and leadership skills as a retired teacher and school principal uniquely prepared her for work as a Realtor® at Ron Minegar Real Estate and a property manager. As a owner and property manager of Group One Property Management, she believes identifying needs, analyzing options, monitoring details, and building trust in relationships are keys to a successful business. Phyllis Barker opened her Group One PM business in 2014. As a licensed Realtor®, she is trained to deliver superior customer service to tenants and investors in Ada County.  The company currently manages over 150 single-family homes in and around Boise and has plans to grow with the addition of more residential and commercial rental properties in the coming months.

Phyllis was born and raised in Montana and has been living and working in the Treasure Valley since 1988. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Master’s in Economics Education and a Master’s in Education Leadership. She has 5 children and numerous grandchildren and currently serves on the Board of the Boise Philharmonic.

Tami is a property manager and specializes maintenance requests. Her warm, energetic style contributed to her growth and success as she spent 15 years listening to and serving her customers mainly in the IT industry. 

Tami was raised in Nampa and attended the University of Idaho, attaining a dual bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Clothing/Textile Design. Tami and her family just returned to Idaho after living in Nevada for 9 years. She, her husband, and two daughters are extremely excited to begin a new chapter in Boise and enjoying all the wonderful outdoor actives Idaho has to offer. You may see them camping or paddle boarding on the river in the summer or skiing at Bogus Basin in the winter.

Jessi is Group One Property Management’s bookkeeper. She provides timely, friendly customer service while keeping our client's needs always top of mind.

She acquired her many skills while working at Google and other tech start-ups in Seattle, Washington. She was born and raised in Boise and attended the University of Idaho, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. In addition to bookkeeping, Jessi and her business partner own a mental coaching company called Athletic Mental Performance, which has a focus on athletes. She utilizes her training in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Mental Emotional Release, yoga, and breath-work to help people remove mental blocks and get back into their flow. She lives in Seattle with her dog, Leo and can be found performing improv, doing yoga, or sewing costumes/clothes.
